BRS SpeediTee

In one of the biggest partnerships the Golf IT industry has ever seen, the two largest players have joined forces to give their customers the opportunity of a truly integrated system to beat all others.

Club Systems International and BRS Golf have agreed a deal that will see the SpeediTee product join the BRS portfolio.  The Belfast based team will develop the brand to become the leading entry level Online Booking product in UK and Irish golf.  Integrating the new ‘BRS SpeediTee’ and their other fully featured Tee Time Management system, with all Club Systems Products, from Membership management, Scores and Handicapping and even the market leading MerlinTouch EPoS loyalty System.

BRS Golf was founded in 2002 by Rory Smith and Brian Smith, both very keen single figure handicap golfers. Before starting BRS, they had over 25 years experience in the software industry, working on a wide range of software and Internet projects.

BRS started by developing web sites for golf clubs, but in October 2003 while working with various local clubs, they identified an opportunity to develop an online booking system that would allow Members and Visitors to book their golf online just like booking a flight with Easyjet.

The market leading BRS Tee Time Manager was launched in January 2004 followed by Member and Visitor Online booking in June 2004. The product quickly established itself in Ireland where it now has over 180 customers including 65 of the top 100 courses in Ireland and holds almost 100% market share.

The BRS Tee Time Manager was launched in the UK in September 2005 where it has already attracted over 170 customers including several British Open Championship clubs and a host of other prestigious clubs.

The success of BRS Golf over the last 6 years can be attributed to the following:
