VAT is chargeable on all social subscriptions and associated services at non profit making, sporting ‘membership’ clubs and all Subscriptions and most services at all other clubs. We have written a utility to change the VAT settings for you, it is available at the very bottom of this page.

Club Systems EPoS (Till) Systems
All the systems installed by Club Systems are shown below, find your till either MP2 Merlin, Vectron or MerlinTouch to see what if any action needs to be taken.
The MP2 Merlin Cash Register (pictured here) sells all goods including VAT, it sell goods including VAT, it is not detailed separately in any prices. You do therefore not need to change any settings, unless you have text added to your receipts stating a VAT rate. Since the government increased duty on most bar products in line with the drop in VAT and do not intend to reduce this duty back down again, it is anticipated that many clubs may choose to amend prices. This VAT Utility is for UK customers only and for use with CLUB2000 Version 11 & 12. If you use our MerlinTouch EPoS loyaly System and are operating the Stock Control Module please run this program on Friday 1st January before trading begins.
